Emotions
In the Gladys concept, emotions are very simple. They can be defined as
the emotions of fear, jealousy, hate, and anger. Emotions are feelings
that one has that are strong within the thought process of the mind
power. Emotions do allow people to express how they are feeling;
however, these negative emotions can be very destructive when expressed.
When you respond and react with the emotions of anger, jealousy, or
hate, there is fear in your mind power. When you have fear in your mind
and subsequently feel these emotions, you create distortions in your
thinking. The intensity of these emotions expands as you go from one
emotion to the next, adding one on top of another. You can then create
further distortions. You are experiencing your reality and that reality
is distorted because of your imaginary fears. This is why it is
beneficial to release fear when one is experiencing an emotion, as this
will stop the chain of thinking that leads to distortions and the
escalating intensity of destructive emotions.
Envy
Envy is similar to jealousy. It is usually experienced prior to
experiencing jealousy but is not as consuming as jealousy. Envy, if
experienced without fear, is a fleeting feeling of desire. More often
than not, though, envy is not fleeting, in which case it is an indicator
that a correction needs to be made to release fear.
Expansion of the life energy
The Universe has different dimensions of energies. Each dimension that
is a part of the Universe is perfect within itself. Each dimension of
energy has a level of perfection in its experience. The energy of life
experienced in its perfection would be experienced in a state of being
of what we would call love and joy. The reason we desire love and joy
more than any other experience is because that is the way we are
supposed to be experiencing living.
The experience of living between birth and death is the activity that
expands the life energy. The activities that expand the life energy are
experiences of love and joy. Other activities in living do not expand
the life energy. Expansion of the life energy is a concept of which many
people are not aware. Expansion of the life energy in the Gladys concept
teaches that it is of absolute importance for benefit and value in
living.
If one wishes to expand the life energy, one must be free of fear and
experience the state of being of love and joy.
Extension of the mind
Extension of the mind is an excellent tool one can use to assist others
when they have fear. First release your own fear when you are concerned
about someone else. You then extend that release to the other person(s)
for whom you have the concern. When you use the tool of extension of the
mind, you are assisting someone else in releasing their fear. Release
the other person’s fear. You do not have to define or analyze either
your fear or the other person’s fear. You simply use the affirmation. By
releasing your own fear, you are correcting your mind so that there is
no fear, and you are then able to release the other person’s fear
without judging and measuring. You are sending a source of energy to
them that will help make corrections to their mind power. Is this an
intrusion into the other person’s mind? No, it is merely a source of
positive energy that will assist them in making their own corrections.
The other person does not have to be aware of the extension. Do this
anytime you are worried or concerned about someone else. This is an
excellent way to send positive energy and assistance.
F
Fear
Fear in this concept is defined as the fear of inadequacy and/or fear of
rejection. These two emotions cause one to distort one’s thinking, and
they negatively affect every minute of one’s day. If a person is
experiencing the emotions of fear of inadequacy or fear of rejection,
then the person is experiencing illusory fear.
This kind of fear is considered illusory because there is no real threat
or danger to a person’s life. If there were a physical threat or danger,
one’s flight or fight response would kick in, and this would no longer
be an illusory fear but a real one.
Fear of
There is another aspect of fear that is relevant. Not only can we
experience fear and the distortions in our thoughts that then occur, but
we can also experience fear of and have the same distortions. Fear of is
as damaging as experiencing fear itself. Both are illusory. Both
negatively affect our thinking and distort our thoughts. Fear of is not
the same as having fear. Fear of is what occurs when we create illusions
about some future happening. We have a thought and we immediately insert
fear of rejection or fear of inadequacy. We are not experiencing either
one yet. We are only creating the illusion of fear of something
happening in our future. When we have fear, the rejection and/or the
inadequacy are part of our experience at that moment. Fear of is a
result of the effects of fear and concerns something we expect to
experience In the future.
Feelings
Feelings are “normal and natural” responses to thoughts or events. Some
common feelings that we experience are resentment, guilt, acceptance,
rejection, adequacy, inadequacy, happiness, excitement, exhilaration,
grief, pain, and loneliness. Some of these feelings contain fear and
some of them do not. We can have all of these feelings without severe
consequences; it’s when fear attaches to a feeling that it destroys the
value of the feelings.
H
Hate
Hate is a destructive emotion. Hate has the capacity of consuming one’s
energy with negativity. Hate is not an emotion we should experience, as
there is no value and benefit in it, and there is the potential for
great harm. Destructive behavior towards self and others is often the
result of hate. Because of the power involved in the emotion of hate,
one must repeatedly release fear until the hate-filled emotions are
gone.
Hope
Hope for a better world. Hope for a better self. Hope for loved ones.
Hope for others. Hope is the basis for belief. When one has hope, then
belief becomes part of the active thinking mind. Hope is a component of
value in living. Where there is hope and belief, then trust is easily
instated in the active mind.
